How to Pick the Right Necklace or Bracelet Length & Ring Size

How to Pick the Right Necklace or Bracelet Length & Ring Size

Here's a guide to all the different necklace lengths as well as how to find your wrist and ring sizes. I've tried to make these pretty easy to follow, but if you ever have more questions, I'm happy to help. Call 310.844.1958 or email us at info@ReviveJewelry.com with additional questions.

Do you ever wonder where a necklace length will lay when you wear it? Well this guide should help with that! Keep in mind that everyone's neck size is different and this guide is based on an average size female neck. You may find that your neck is much smaller or maybe bigger than this. Here's a trick to test it out, (this is similar to what we'll do to find bracelet and ring sizes as well):

1. Find a piece of string and lay it around your neck to where you'd like the necklace to lay.

2. Cut the string. You may want assistance doing this so you don't cut your hair! Or you can do it in front of your body.

3. Lay the string out flat and measure it with a ruler in inches.

4. Now you have the necklace length that's perfect for you!

You can also consult this chart to see where the length will likely fall when worn:

If you ever need a little less or more length added to your necklace I'm happy to do that. Simply add your desired length to the Notes section of your cart and I'll contact you for any additional charge, which depends on how much length we're adding. Usually adding 1-2 inches results in about a $2 additional charge and it goes up from there.

Bracelet lengths

Similar to finding your preferred necklace length, we'll use a piece of string and a ruler to find your wrist measurement. When you have your wrist measurement you can make sure that our bracelets will fit you. If you ever need them sized up or down, I'm happy to make that accommodation. Just contact me here or leave a note with your wrist length in the Notes section of your cart and I'll make sure it fits.

Steps to finding your wrist size:

1. Find a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist. Make sure it's not too tight but not loose either.

2. Mark the string with a felt tip pen where the ends overlap (you may want help with this!). Remove the string from your wrist and cut it at the mark.

3. Lay the string out flat and measure it with a ruler in inches.

4. Now you have your wrist size! Use the"details" tab on each product page to see if the bracelet you want will fit your wrist.

Ring Sizing Guide

rings that give back stacked on model

It can be tricky to buy a ring online especially when you don't know your size and it's by far the biggest question people ask. So here's some tips before we get started:

  • Make sure you measure the finger you plan to wear your ring on.
  • Take your knuckle size into account. You want to make sure the ring will slide on easily over your knuckle.
  • You want to take the measurement in the morning when your body tempurature is coldest and your fingers are not swollen or retaining water from your day.
  • The wider the ring band, the tighter the fit. Most of our rings have a thinner band, so you should be fine buying true to size.
  • Unfortunately, I'm unable to size rings down and sizing up can be tricky. Usually I can get a ring to go up about 1/2 to a full size but more than that isn't possible. The best thing is to get the right size & if you're still not sure about your size I'm happy to walk through it with you- call 310-844-1958 or email Info@ReviveJewelry.com for help.

Steps to find your ring size:

1. Find a piece of string and wrap it around the finger you will wear the ring on. Make sure it's not too tight but not loose either. Remember to think about your knuckle size too!

2. Mark the string with a felt tip pen where the ends overlap (you may want help with this!). Remove the string from your finger and cut it at the mark.

3. Lay the string out flat and measure it with a ruler in millimeters (MM).

4. Use the chart below to find your ring size.
