New Jewelry for Multiple Sclerosis Awareness

Happy first week of 2021, Change Makers! It’s the start of a new year, so I'm highlighting a new design for you! This month, I want us to especially reflect on causes that might be on the periphery of our awareness. When we get together to help each other, it’s important to make sure that no one gets left behind.

Introducing the Rally Ring for Multiple Sclerosis Awareness

I'd like to introduce the Rally Ring. This design is a reminder about everything that motivates you to support your cause. Sometimes, when everything in life doesn’t seem to be going your way, you might feel like you should give up. Especially when it comes to raising money for charity, or asking people to volunteer for your cause, it can feel impossible to convince people to take action.

That’s why it’s always important to have a reminder of your vision and the people who are working together with you. The Rally Ring will always be there to serve as that image of your goal. Also, when you see other people wearing their Rally Ring, you’ll know you have someone else to lean on for support who understands your mission.

Design Inspiration

This ring is inspired by everyone who is affected by multiple sclerosis. This disease has been important to my fundraising efforts since day one. It still doesn’t get enough media attention even though people living with multiple sclerosis continue to need our help. That's why 10% of the proceeds from each purchase of the Rally Ring will go toward helping raise funds for research into effective treatments for multiple sclerosis & potential cures via the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I created this ring by exploring an image of a cell affected by multiple sclerosis (above). I found parts of it surprisingly beautiful, even though the effects of the disease are so devastating. I took a small portion of the image and set it in resin within the two ring pendants.

The two pendants are also important for the Rally Ring as a reminder that you are never alone in fighting for your cause. You are never truly alone because there will always be someone looking out for your health and wellbeing just as you’re doing so for others.

This ring is only available in sterling silver. One of the best parts of the design is that it’s easily sizable to any dimension that best fits you! You can adjust the band on your own by pressing it into a smaller loop or expanding it. This makes the Rally Ring a perfect gift because you don’t need to worry about choosing the right size.
