March Matters to Us for 1 Million Reasons

For the entire month of March, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles joins forces with business across the county to raise awareness of children’s health. The goal is to raise $1M for the Helping Hands Fund, which ensures that CHLA’s patients receive the critical, lifesaving care they need.

CHLA sees more than half a million patients each year, offering care for a vast range of health issues, from common illnesses to traumas and chronic diseases. The best part of CHLA, is that kids come there from all around and no one is ever turned away regardless of their ability to pay. This is due in part to the funds raised during the Make March Matter campaign- which is why it is important.

As the first and largest pediatric hospital in Southern California, CHLA relies on the generosity of philanthropists in the community to support compassionate patient care, leading-edge eduction of the caregivers of tomorrow and innovative research efforts that impact children not only at CHLA, but around the world. CHLA is helping kids every day and their mission is very important to our future.
