September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, so let's talk about our charity partner, Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF). So far this month I've shown you the new jewelry release, we've learned all about what lymphoma is & who's at risk, plus some fun tips on how to wear colorful jewelry. Now, it's time to meet LRF, so let's dive in!
Lymphoma Research Foundation
On a personal note, all the people I've worked with at LRF have been absolutely amazing and are so obviously dedicated to this cause- partnering together has been a pleasure! They are the number one charity in the US dedicated to funding research for lymphoma. But, they also have a lot of amazing patient resources that I'll get into below. Keep reading for more!
Mission
The LRF, "mission is to eradicate lymphoma and serve all those impacted by this blood cancer."
Not only do they have the most comprehensive information and patient programs, but they also teach people how to advocate for themselves. Self advocacy is vital, but it can also be the most daunting task of a cancer patient. Most people don't know where to start, and that's where LRF can help.
Research Impact
LRF continuously invests in young researchers with innovative ideas about how to approach lymphoma research. "LRF invests in high-risk, high-reward scientists who have the greatest potential to improve our understanding of lymphomas and lead to improved treatment options for patients."
The more we can learn about this disease, the better equipped we are to treat it and one day, find a cure.

Patient Resources
One of the most amazing offerings for patients is the LRF Helpline. You can get in touch with them Monday through Friday from 9:30am – 7:30pm Eastern Standard Time (ET). The trained professionals who take these calls can help with any questions you might have. Every call is confidential & free.
They also have tons of information about clinical trials, financial assistance, support communities, educational materials & even an app for your phone to help with your specific lymphoma diagnosis. To take advantage of these resources, click here.
Instagram Interview
I recently had the opportunity to talk with Uchenna Esomonu, who is the Support Services Coordinator and a member of LRF’s Helpline Team. She had some great insight for anyone affected by lymphoma and their caregivers or relatives. Click below to watch.
How to Get Involved
Donate
The easiest and most impactful way you can get involved today is to donate directly to LRF. Click here to donate now.
Volunteer
With Covid 19 there aren't many in person volunteer opportunities for the near future, but you can always start your own fundraiser. This could be a run/walk, bake sale, lemonade stand- the sky's the limit! Start here, if you're interested in this option.
If you're a survivor or caregiver, you can volunteer to be part of a peer to peer support group. "Volunteers are there to offer words of encouragement, and understanding, to help give others strength to meet the challenges they may have to face." You can provide helpful guidance while others battle through their journey.
Shop
There's one more way to get involved & that's by shopping at Revive Jewelry. When you purchase anything from the Support Lymphoma Research collection, 10% of your purchase is donated to LRF. The best part? You get a gorgeous piece of jewelry & LRF gets something too! Click below to shop now.
